Abstract:
Sickle wrapped in white beadwork and cowie shells, made by Carlos Leon. The sickle is decorated in the ritual color of the Orisha deity Obatalá: white. The sickle was exhibited as part of a ritual throne for Obatalá. Agogó (bell) for Obatala by Carlos Leon. ( en )
