Abstract:
1611 Collins Avenue. Miami Design Preservation League members stand in front of the New Yorker in 1981. The New Yorker Hotel was designed by Henry Hohauser and built in 1940. Despite MDPL's efforts to persuade the owner to spare the hotel, it was torn down. ( en )
