Abstract:
26th Street and Collins Avenue. The Atlantis was designed by Lawrence Murray Dixon and built in 1936. Dixon used murals and ornament to create a cohesive environment that alluded to the lost maritime city, Atlantis. The Atlantis was demolished in 1973. ( en )
