Shows the Ox Woman (Sarah Smith McLain) and a man holding the ropes controlling her oxen and two wheeled cart. Caption: Old lady who drove an ox team from northern Fla. to Snapper Creek. The Widow McLain or Aunt Sarah as she was known . . . arrived in Dade County around 1907 driving her team of oxen from Georgia alone with only her dogs and her shot gun for company.
