Abstract:
Aerial view shows the airport and environs. Master Field was located north of the Little River Canal, east of Seaboard Airline Railroad tracks, south of 119 Street and west of 27th Avenue. U. S. Navy acquired airfield from the City of Miami during World War II. Opened in 1942 it continued in military use through 1961. - Antolin Carbonell ( en )
