Original caption: Esther Maye Armbrister pushed the city to create historic markers for the cemetery where Bahamian and African American settlers of Coconut Grove were buried. Miami Herald photograph date stamped: March 23, 1993, and December 23 and 24, 1995. The Coconut Grove Cemetery is located at 3650 Charles Avenue. The Cemetery open in 1904 ( en )
