Abstract:
Shows the Duke facing a WQAM microphone on the podium. Karl Voelter is at right. The Duke of Windsor served as the governor of the Bahamas, approximately 1940-1945. He visited Miami several times during his governorship. The Palm Beach Post and Miami News reported that he was expected to attend the 1941 and 1942 Air Maneuvers. ( en )
