|a 1235-1237 Washington Avenue. The Cinema Theatre opened in 1938 under the name Cinema Casino Motion Pictures. It was later renamed the French Casino, before becoming the Cinema Theatre, ca. 1948. The theatre closed in the 1970s. The owners converted the theater into small stores, which were never rented.
