The Friendship Garden and Civic Club (the Civic was added later) was organized in the parish hall of St. Agnes Episcopal Church as a garden club. The club served the community through its charitable work with Christian Hospital, the Daily Vacation Bible School and the Dorsey Memorial Library. The group also organized annual clean-up campaigns. |
