The property is classified as a residential structure and was constructed in 1925-1926 by the Miami Shores Company for Hugh Anderson. The architects were Kiehnel & Elliott. The house features Mediterranean Revival architecture with masonry/stucco construction, irregular plan, and Spanish barrel tile roofs. Notable architectural elements include a two-story entry tower, arched windows, extensive masonry detailing, and a porch with square posts.
