Abstract:
This report follows the implications of public-facilities planning in Florida as a response to Sea level rise. The design lives of different infrastructure types are listed here, including bridges (75 years), Sewage treatment and wastewater reclamation facilities (up to 50 years), and water distribution systems (30-50 + years). This report suggests Protection- the idea of standing up and defending seawalls and levees as a viable response to dealing with the implications of sea level rise. ( English )
