General Note:
In 1896, Otis Richardson planted a grove on the Miami River, near present-day 25th Avenue (Miami). His son, C. O. The display in one of these photographs was at the first Dade County Fair, an annual fair sponsored by the Model Land Company to promote agriculture in South Florida, including on reclaimed Everglades land.
