Castleden; All rights reserved; Its odd swinging sign, the coquina walls, two feet through, the great fireplace, the time-worn timbers, and the heavy curved wrought-iron bars lend this Old Curiosity Shop its well-earned atmosphere of age. Records hold that it was built by one Juan Parades between 1803 and 1813. The St. Augustine Historical Society now owns it.
