Scope and Content:
Color postcard of the Key West Citizen building on Greene Street. "Founded over fifty years ago, brought to modern proportions by the late L. P. Artman [d.1954], The Key West Citizen has chronicled the events of the island, its quaintness and its greatness. The Citizen is at present owned and edited by Norman Artman, son of the publisher, who recently restored the building in keeping with old Island Architecture". Norman Artman sold The Citizen in 1968. A gift of Mrs. Ed [Joan] Knight.
