General Note:
The Challenger Memorial was designed by Japanese artist Isamu Naguchi and resides in Downtown Miami's Bayfront Park. It was completed after Noguchi died, and was his last public monument. The 100-foot tall abstract steel sculpture pays tribute to the seven astronauts killed on the Challenger space shuttle.
