Abstract:
1940 “The Florida Everglades: Sawgrass and Seminole” compiled by workers of the Writers’ Program of the Work Projects Administration in the State of Florida as part of the series “Stories of Florida: Prepared for use in Public Schools.” A beige, coverless booklet. Federal Works Agency Administrator John M. Carmody, and the Work Projects Administration were in charge of the writing of this booklet. The Work Projects Administration consisted of: Commissioner F. C. Harrington, Assistant Commissioner Florence Kerr, and State Administrator Roy Schroder.
