October 3, 1995 Twenty-four color photographs of Collins Avenue
General Note:
Collins Avenue, which incorporates parts of Florida State Road A1A runs one block west and parallel to the Atlantic Ocean. Collins Avenue was named for John S. Collins, a developer who completed Miami’s first bridge, Collins Bridge, in 1913. The road is 13 miles long and goes from South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach to State Road 856 (William Lehman Causeway) / SR A1A in Sunny Isles Beach.
