Notes
Abstract:
The bridge was named in honor of Robert L. Blum, a longtime Miami Beach resident, real estate developer, and activist, after his death (May 22, 1988). The city did so in a Commission Memorandum on October 19, 1988. On July 1, 2007 the State Senate ratified the name change at the request of the city and Blum's son, Jonathan. ( English )
