Abstract:
1914 Black and white photograph of Pancoast Lake, Pinetree Drive and Collins Avenue. The Pancoast House (to the right) can be seen, Indian Creek circling the house by the lake. Biscayne Bay can be noticed further up North. ( Pancoast House on Lake Pancoast - home of Thomas J. Pancoast, son in law of John Collins - Miami Beach's second mayor and first president of the Beach's Chamber of Commerce. The sight is now occupied by the Seville Hotel). 1917 Residence of Mr. James H. Snowden, home of Firestone, located where the Fontainebleau is now. Photo by Elite Photo Concern.
