Abstract:
Circular bronze medal, on obverse side, depicting a "Snipe" airplane (also the name of the bird on a 100 gulden note) with water to the right side and holly branch, to indicate Christmas, on the left side of the medal. Also depicted is possibly the coat of arms of 17th century West Indies. On the reverse side, is an image of an airplane flying over waters with the coat of arms of the Netherlands, (crowned rampant lion), on the left side.
General Note:
"Amsterdam, Paramaribo-Curaçao : Hondong van Balkom van der Molen Stolk"--reverse.
