Abstract:

Color lithographic poster designed by Austin Cooper (Canadian, working in England) and printed in the Netherlands with the time-table for trips to England via Dutch harbors. Illustration in upper half, split in two halfs, depicting a ship: on the left in blue and white as to illustrate day traveling, to the right in black and green with a dark blue sky and stars above as to illustrate night traveling.
