Abstract:

Cylindrical shaped lamp with rod-like arm attached to rectangular base and circular ball weight at end on flat, circular base; all made of brushed chromed steel except for ball weight which is shiny chromed steel; designed to hang over edge to light piano keys or music.

Designed originally as a wedding present for painter and ceramist Harm Kamerlingh Onnes (Dutch, 1893-1984).
