Notes
General Note:
Dr. Jenkins reflects on her childhood and education in Obertown, or "Color Town" as it was nicknamed, and beyond. She says that she had little time to visit Virginia Key because she was so involved in her studies. She recalls it as the final destination of most summer vacation bible school. She also questions the reason VKB was given to the black community.
