Notes

General Note:
These are a series of clips chronicling a tour of Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. The first clip discusses the removal of all non-native plants from the beach. The second clip talks about the lack of people of color in the environmental sciences and how the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust has attempted to address that shortage. The third clip reveals that the park has plans to get the mini-train and carousel up and running in the near future. In part four, the group leaves the pavilion to travel to the beach. In part five, you see the group walking to the beach. Part six discusses the segregation of Virginia Key Beach and the presence of the carousel on the beach. Part seven continues the discussion of the carousel and the group take some picture of the ride. Part eight continues showing the group making their way to the beach. Parts nine through fifteen show the group playing in the water at Virginia Key Beach Park.
