Notes
General Note:
These documents detail the NOAA's plans to conduct the first "comprehensive and interdisciplinary ecological and oceanographic" study of the region. First, the NOAA plans to characterize the coastal and oceanic environment of Virginia Key before, during, and after the restoration. Second, the organization wants to assess the ecological response to the restoration project. Third, the NOAA will assess the water quality of Virginia Key's mangrove wetlands, the beach, and its coastal environment. Finally, the NOAA will monitor and assess the fish life surrounding Virginia Key.
