Abstract:
Several people dance to the music at an event at Virginia Key Beach Park. In the middle (in green) is Enid C. Pinkney, Vice-Chair of the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust, who has worked over the years as a preservation leader to ensure that the history of African Americans in Miami is preserved and remembered. To her right is Eugenia B. Thomas, former Vice-Chair and current Trustee, who was also the first black president of Florida's Parent Teach Association and a lifelong advocate for children. In the back (in black) is Guy Forchion, Executive Director of the Trust. ( en )
