Deacon Jones (left) greets Mercury Morris at the 2008 Larry Little Legends Golf Classic Pairings Reception, an annual tournament and reception benefitting Virginia Key Beach Trust. David "Deacon" Jones was a professional football player who played for the LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins. Jones was considered one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Morris played Running Back for the Miami Dolphins in the 1970s. He played in three Super Bowls and three Pro Bowls, and is a two-time Super Bowl champion. ( en )
