Abstract:
Deacon Jones stands with Jim Mandich at the 2008 Larry Little Legends Golf Classic Pairings Reception, an annual tournament and reception benefitting Virginia Key Beach Trust. David "Deacon" Jones was a professional football player who played for the LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins. Jones was considered one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Jim Mandich played tight end for the 1972 Miami Dolphins and later worked as a color commentator for the Miami Dolphins. He was a 3-time Super Bowl champion, twice with the Miami Dolphins and once with the Pittsburgh Steelers. ( en )
