|a Four men laugh at Miccosukee Golf & Country Club where the 2007 Larry Little Legends Golf Classic was held. The tournament is an annual event benefitting the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust. Pictured second from the left is Deacon Jones, a Defensive End in the NFL, who played for the LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins. Jones was considered one of the greatest defensive players in the NFL and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Pictured third from the left is Larry Little. Larry Little played right guard on the history-making 1972 Miami Dolphins, racking up many individual accollades and awards. He is a 2-time Super Bowl champion and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. He is also dedicated to supporting the Virginia Key Beach Trust to ensure the preservation and upkeep of the historic park that he himself visited as a child during segregation. |
