Abstract:
Picture of three men at the Larry Little Legends Golf Classic in 2007. Deacon Jones is in the middle and Larry Little is pictured on the far right. David "Deacon" Jones was a Defensive End in the NFL, who played for the LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins. Jones was considered one of the greatest defensive players in the NFL and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Larry Little played right guard on the history-making 1972 Miami Dolphins, racking up many individual accollades and awards. He is a 2-time Super Bowl champion and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. He is also dedicated to supporting the Virginia Key Beach Trust to ensure the preservation and upkeep of the historic park that he himself visited as a child during segregation. ( en )
