Summary:
This is a television documentary about the lives of two Floridians, Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Marjorie Carr. Both women came to Florida over 50 years ago and have made Florida and some of its wild places the center of their lives and their work as citizen activists, authors and conservationists. The video includes scenes of Florida's natural beauty, interspersed with vivid, eloquent and often amusing recollections by Mrs. Douglas and Mrs. Carr.
