Abstract:

A major sculpture recently selected for Florida International University by the State Art in Public Places has been placed in front of the Sunblazer Arena on the Tamiami Campus. The sculpture, titles "Five of Them" is by Miami artist Carol Brown. Made with lengths of pipe and pieces of aluminum objects found in scrap yards, the sculpture stands 7 feet 5 inches high.
