Notes

Abstract:
The Atlas presents information on the physical landscape, ecosystems, climate, hydrology, and human water use/demand that aids understanding the spatial patterns of water supply, water demand and use in the Wami/Ruvu Basin. Bringing together different aspects of water availability and use on a single map allows for noting spatial patterns that are otherwise hidden in data sets. A section is also included on factors that affect the vulnerability of water resources in the WR Basin, and that is typical of the situation in East Africa.
