Abstract:

Arch Creek Trust was very pleased by the attendance of Marjory Stoneman Douglas to the dedication ceremonies celebrating the completion of the reconstruction of the Natural Bridge at Arch Creek. They appreciate her comments about the historical significance of the Arch Creek bridge, and her recollections of the early efforts of Alice Cohen and Jessie Freeling to save the bridge and surrounding hammock from commercial development
