Abstract:
When General Motors purchased the Part of Arch Creek area for a used car lot, local conservationists, among them Alice Cohen, reacted vigorously to preserve the site for public recreational and educational use. The Miami West Indian Archaeological Society accepted the invitation to dig the site and with the help of members of the Broward County Archaeological Society, completed the excavations which lead to this Report.
