Abstract:
Castaways Island Hotel was located at 16400 Collins Avenue (Sunny Isles, Fla.).The Castaways Island Hotel was designed by Charles F. McKirahan and built in 1958. It had pan-Pacific themes and motifs throughout its buildings. It was partially demolished after the 1975 fire. It was completely demolished in the 1980s and the Oceania condominiums were built on the site in 1990s. ( en )
