Abstract:
Doctors remove a bullet from the shoulder of a wounded hijacker. William Stoner forced a charter boat captain and mate at gunpoint to take him to sea. A high-speed chase with a Coast Guard boat ensued. A single shot brought Stoner down. The hijacker said he was bound for Cuba to assassinate Fidel Castro. Published in the Miami News.
