Photo date stamped Dec. 23, 1979.Original caption: Fidel Alvarez & Anita Median walking down street in Wynwood area. Wynwood is a Miami neighborhood. Its boundaries are NW 36th Street on the north, NW 20th Street on the south, Biscayne Boulevard on the east and Interstate 95 on the west. The area is also called "Little San Juan", as many Puerto Ricans settled here after coming from the island and northeastern cities in the 1950s. ( en )
