Notes

Abstract:
"Nothing Goes to Waste is a solo exhibition by Miami-based artist, Gustavo Oviedo. Oviedo creates and recreates utilizing canvases, photography, vinyl, drawings, video and found objects. The works selected for this exhibition are either in their first, second, or even third iteration. Oviedo is an accidental environmentalist reclaiming his own artworks or remnants of them to create new pieces. He takes this a step further with his personal interest in boating. He uses his vessel to claim the landscape as his studio by delving into the waters of South Florida and recovering discarded items as souvenirs of experiences." ( en )
