Abstract:
Shows the bayside facade of the house and part of the Miami limestone ridge known as Silver Bluff. Villa Serena was designed in the Spanish Mediterranean style by noted architect August Geiger, for William Jennings Bryan. The house, located at 3115 Brickell Avenue fronts on Biscayne Bay and is one of the few remaining homes on the stretch of Brickell Avenue that was known as millionaire's Row due to the quality and size of the homes. Part of the limestone ridge on which the property sits is visible in the foreground. ( en )
