Ethel Sterling Williams (1891-1987) arrived in Linton (now Delray Beach) Florida when she was five years old. After graduating from Wesleyan College for Women in Macon, Georgia, she returned to Delray Beach to teach. She later became the founder and first president of the Delray Beach Historical Society. |
