On back: Lake Boynton Estates. Located on the Ridge in the town of Boynton between Lake Boynton and the Atlantic Ocean. This view is reproduced for an actual photo. "Visit the semi-tropics." Gates at the entrance to Lake Boynton Estates, a real estate development planned in 1925 by K.D. Purdy (now around the intersection of W. Ocean Avenue and the tri-rail railroad tracks, Boynton Beach Fla.) One gate remains standing in 2021, and was entered on the Boynton Beach Register of Historic Places in 2014.
