General Note:
Portrait of a woman, labeled "Mrs. Edwin Sherratt (Winifred) first president 1953." Winifred Dorner Sherratt (1919-2008) owned the Boynton Beach News with her husband Edwin Sherratt (1914-2002) between 1948 and 1952. They moved to New Jersey in about 1953. The Junior Woman’s Club was associated with the Boynton Woman’s Club, and existed sporadically existed between 1930 and 1992.
