500        |a Labeled "Mrs. Clara White (Danny) president 1928-29." Clara Belle Greer (1872-1959) married Morton Stephen White in 1894. After he died in 1926, she was very active in the Boynton Beach community organizations including, in addition to the Boynton Woman's Club, the gardening club, the Red Cross, and many others. She also had several jobs, including teaching first grade in Delray (1931), as a reporter of Boynton social events for the Palm Beach Post (1932-1941), and as the librarian at the Woman's Club (1935-1945). She lived at 103 SW Third Street and her garden was well known for its ylang-ylang tree, huge caladiums, and a ficus religioso.
