Notes

General Note:
Front of large building. Opened in 1950 as the Southeast Tuberculosis Hospital on 166 acres, the hospital was renamed A.G. Holley State Hospital in 1969 in honor of businessman Adrian Glenn Holley, who served for 16 years on the state tuberculosis board. After new drug treatments were developed in the mid-1970s, and the number of patients drastically decreased, the west wing served as a minimum security prison for non-violent male offenders, then from 1988 for low-risk females until 1992. The hospital closed in 2012. The land was purchased in 2014 by Lantana Development for a mixed-use development.
