General Note:
Seven men and a boy on the beach, holding a long line of fish. Handwritten on back: "1st Capt. Joseph C. Powell, 2nd Joseph C. Powell Jr., next to last Ray B. Dame." Joseph Chambers Powell (1859-1939) served 11 years as the bridgetender in Boynton Beach; his son, Joseph Cord Powell (1884-1942) was Boynton's first town clerk. Ray B. Dame was a noted photographer.
