Notes

General Note:
City gates for Kelsey City with two cars in the road. The legend on the gate is: "You are now leaving Kelsey City, come again." Built in 1923, there were also a set of entrance gates on what is now Old Dixie Highway. Constructed of mortar, coquina (limestone made of broken shells), stucco, and tile wrapped around metal bars. Kelsey City was a planned community in Florida, established in 1920, but failed in 1928. It changed its name to Lake Park in 1939.
