General Note:
James Willard Easton (1867-1937) and Sarah Bielby Easton (1875-1961) in front of a restaurant, "Dad's Place." A man, woman, and child in front of a building with "Bar B Cue" written on the side. Other signs advertise Coca-Cola, Jackson Lager Brew, and "The Velvet Kind Ice Cream, Palm Beach Ice Cream made with Pure Rich Cream, a product of Southern Dairies, Health Builders of the South." Written on the slide is "Boynton Beach Dad's Place on U.S. 1, Mom and Dad Easton." James Willard Easton and wife Sarah arrived in Boynton Beach in 1922 and according to their grandson, ran a restaurant, the Stone Lodge on U.S. 1 and SE 23rd Avenue). By 1930, they had moved to Lantana to become the Lantana bridge tenders.
