Men planting along U.S. 1, near the Superior Motel, the First Federal Savings and Loan, and the A&P. Caption on back: "These palm trees took years to grow but workmen transplanted them in a day, transforming barren islands to park-like spots. Boynton Beach's Highway Beautification program is now in full swing and will be completed shortly." Published in the Boynton Beach Star, 12 Jan 1967 with the caption: "Median strip of Federal Highway has been landscaped."
