General Note:

Sally Maddock sells a customer a can of paint at Western Auto Store. Hardware, tricycles, and tires seen in background. Published in the Boynton Beach Star, 13 July 1967, with the caption "Seems like old times... Mrs. C.L. Brown makes the first purchase from Sally Maddox as she did 7 years ago when the Maddoxes took over their own operation on Ocean Avenue." The Maddox family opened Western Auto (502 E. Ocean Avenue) in c. 1956 and in 1967 moved to the Kwik Chek shopping center.
